What Have I been watching?

Here is my Netflix rental list from the past 90 days (these are movies that I watched). I’ve enjoyed every one of these movies (spare maybe 2), and I wonder why that is. Have I been very careful when selecting? Or have I just been lucky? I think maybe it is because I’ve watched each one alone — therefore the movie becomes more immersive. Furthermore, when the movie is over and you’re reminded of the reality that you live in, you wish the movie hadn’t ended. I guess this is how I decide if a movie is good or not.

Last Life in the Universe 12/28/05

Little Buddha 11/15/05 — Basically a movie about Buddhism, but they try to play it off with a story. I rented this for my brother.
Pieces of April 11/10/05
Dr. Strangelove 11/08/05 — I thought this would be more funny, but I found it to be fairly boring.
The Silence of the Lambs 11/03/05
A View to a Kill 10/25/05
Capturing the Friedmans 10/21/05
