This was directed by Ted Avery, who I believe also did a hilarious cartoon parody short (again with the wolf) of the movie “To Have and Have Not” (one of my favorites; the style and smoothness in this movie is outrageous) called “Bacall to Arms”. Sadly, I couldn’t find Bacall to Arms for viewing on the web.
Even when they used to play old Looney Tune & MGM cartoon reruns, they never played stuff like this.
