GP2X game
A simple memory/pattern game written in C with the SDL libraries and Karl Bartel’s SFont code for the bitmap font drawing routines. Watch the computer choose a sequence of button presses, then repeat the pattern using the A B Y X buttons. So far I couldn’t do more than 15 steps.
Note to any blind GP2X gamers: Press Y for dog barking, B for honking, X for laser, and A for the hand clap.
The source code is included for educational purposes (i.e. how to write messy code). This program helped me get into GP2X development.
INSTALLATION:
Copy the Nomis folder to anywhere on your SD Card. All artwork and wav files must be in the same folder as Nomis.gpe.
BUTTON CONFIGURATION:
Start – Start Game
Select – Quit Game
A, B, Y, and X activate the colored buttons.

What Have I been watching?
Here is my Netflix rental list from the past 90 days (these are movies that I watched). I’ve enjoyed every one of these movies (spare maybe 2), and I wonder why that is. Have I been very careful when selecting? Or have I just been lucky? I think maybe it is because I’ve watched each one alone — therefore the movie becomes more immersive. Furthermore, when the movie is over and you’re reminded of the reality that you live in, you wish the movie hadn’t ended. I guess this is how I decide if a movie is good or not.

Giovanni Ribisi
Wow. I am really in awe of Giovanni Ribisi’s powerful performances in 2000’s The Gift from Paramount Studios. I was so blown away by his acting abilities that I’ve provided two short clips to view, which I hope you will enjoy. Overall, I really enjoyed this movie and I highly recommend renting it.
Hopefully these videos can maybe inspire someone, or maybe spark creativity in one’s own life. Let me know what you think!

so yeah had my first technical job interview the other day. It was pretty cool, and I didn’t die. Will update the situation during the week to see if I get the job. I haven’t been offered any other interviews yet.

Seabrook Village
anyone remember that sarcastic kid “Matt” from Seabrook village? He was funny. That would be cool to have a reunion get together with the old gang, including Dennis. Who’s with me here?
Went to the Rutgers game today, we won 31-21. I took pics and some videos of fans storming the field. I will try to upload them in the near future.
